A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required. Requests must be submitted prior to 3:00 p.m. for next-day inspections. Inspections are not scheduled to occur on weekends or statutory holidays.
Every reasonable effort will be made to complete the inspection within two business days of the requested date. Building Officials will endeavor to accommodate same-day requests when possible.

Northumberland County is responsible for plumbing inspections in the Municipality of Port Hope.
