Tent Permit Application

A tent or group of tents is exempt from the requirement to obtain a permit provided that the tent or group of tents are:

The following documentation is required and must be submitted with this form prior to the issuance of a Building Permit:

a site plan drawing to demonstrate the proposed location of the tent(s);
a floor plan of the tent showing the location of exits, seating areas and proximity to other buildings;
the depth and angle at which the tent posts will be driven into the ground
verification of flame retardant materials for the tent; and
location of fire extinguishers

There is no charge for a Tent Permit.

If the tent is to be on public property, the following is also required:

A Fire Safety Plan which has been reviewed and approved by the Chief Fire Official, submitted to Fire and Emergency Services
