In accordance with Procedural By-law 60/2023, if you wish to make a presentation to Council, you must complete this form. Additional information regarding appearing before Council can be found on our Connecting with Council webpage.The following types of presentations shall provide information only and shall be heard at the beginning of a Council Meeting:
a) Presentations by groups or individuals on subjects that are within the jurisdiction or influence of local government, as determined by the Clerk and Chair;b) Presentations by outside organizations providing information with no accompanying report or recommendations; andc) Presentations recognizing achievements.
All attendees are required to follow Section 12 of Procedural By-law 60/2023, Duties of Attendees.
Council meetings at Town Hall may be video recorded and/or live streamed.
The submission of a request to make a presentation does not guarantee the request will be approved. The Office of the Municipal Clerk reserves the right to schedule or deny a request for a presentation, in accordance with the Procedural By-law.
